Fear is becoming more and more pervasive in our culture. People are hurting inside, our Earth is dying, we are deeply politically divided, technology is permeating everything, loneliness is becoming a epidemic, and so much more. And with all of this happening, we have very few ways to talk about it, and very few people to talk to about it.

With the Fear Doctor project, I invite people to have a seat, share a fear, and I listen closely and talk with them before typing up a free philosophical prescription that I give to them. I consider listening an act of love, and this project provides a space for people to be heard, to be cared for, to share parts of them that they don’t usually get to share, to heal, to forgive others and themselves, to remember that they are not alone.
